Highlights from our Grand Opening

September 11, 2005

On Sunday, September 11, 2005,  more than 500 people attended Living Waters first worship service. The Holy Spirit was at work in the most incredible way, as people ran to their cars to bring in lawn chairs, or sat on the floor in the overflow area to hear the gospel being preached for the first time in this place. The church chairs were still on their way from the hurricane stricken Gulf Coast region and the permanent speaker system was to be up and working the following Sunday. The nursery was filled with the giggles and sounds of smiling children, coloring and playing with newly made friends. If you weren't a part of this service, please stop in for one of our upcoming Sunday or Wednesday services and see and feel the Holy Spirit alive at Living Waters Lutheran Church.
